AromaControl for 2 to 5 cups
This coffee machine is equipped with the innovative AromaControl function that can be simply activated at the push of a button. This function optimally adapts the brewing process to the preparation of small coffee quantities (two to five cups). For an intensive coffee taste even with small quantities.
Practical timer function
The timer function with LED display gives you true coffee enjoyment at the time you set. Program when your coffee machine is to start brewing and wake up to the smell of fresh coffee in the morning, for instance. The appliance switches on automatically at the programmed time and starts the brewing process.
Removable, transparent water tank with cup markings
Filling and cleaning the water tank has never been so easy. The transparent water tank has a handle recess and is easy to take out of the appliance. The easy to read cup markings make measuring amounts simple.
'Easy handling' filter with drip stop
The size 1x4® filter holder can be easily removed and filled when detached. The integrated drip stop prevents the coffee from continuing to drip when removing the jug. For easy cleaning, the filter holder is simply placed into the dishwasher after use.
Flavour-preserving warm-keeping
This coffee machine is equipped with two separate heating elements. A powerful 1,800 watts ensures fast water heating. An additional 50 watts ensures that the coffee is kept warm while preserving its flavour. At the end of the individually programmable keep-warm time (20, 40 or 60 minutes), the appliance switches off automatically to ensure economical and safe operation.

Best machine I've owned in over 45 years
I live in London and the water here is very hard. With previous machines, despite regular descaling, they gave up the ghost after 2 or 3 years. I've now had this one for well over 5 years and it's still going strong. At the time of purchase I was dubious about paying this much for a filter machine but bit the bullet and glad I did! As other reviewers have mentioned the L shape is really handy as it sits comfortably in the corner of the kitchen counter maximising workspace, having the timer is great for use on workdays, and the flavour of the coffee is just right. Another great feature is that it tells you when it needs descaling. A handy tip, if you find the coffee is too weak like I did when I first used it, activate the Aroma Control facility. When turning it on continue to press the button until it flashes. Can't tell you exactly what it does but the coffee comes out with a strength much more to my liking. All in all the best machine I've ever owned!
