The companies of the Melitta Group offer digital services in electronic commerce. Our digital offerings include:
- Websites and mobile applications (apps) for various end devices

- Portals for participation in competitions, cashback campaigns and other customer-loyalty measures
- Systems for registering devices and submitting revocations, complaints and repair orders
These digital offers enable our consumers to conclude contracts with us.

3. How Our Services Meet Accessibility Requirements
We strive to comply with WCAG 2.2 conformance levels A and AA. Compliance is assessed through automated, manual and assistive-technology tests (self-assessment), following the four principles of accessibility:
3.1 Perceptibility
- Text alternatives for non-text content (images, graphics)
- Content adaptable for different presentations
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Subtitles or transcripts for audio and video content
3.2 Usability
- All functions operable via keyboard
- Adequate time provided to read and interact with content
- No content that may trigger seizures
- Clear navigation and orientation aids
3.3 Comprehensibility
- Readable, easy-to-understand text
- Predictable website behaviour
- Error prevention and correction support
3.4 Robustness
- Compatibility with current and future user agents
- Standards-compliant coding practices
4. Non-accessible Content
The following content currently does not fully meet accessibility requirements:
- Operating instructions (PDFs): Older manuals are exempt as archive documents but will be replaced progressively; alternative formats are available on request.
- Legacy product images: Some archive images lack descriptive
alt
text; we are adding these continuously. - Chatbot: An accessible version is in development; alternative contact channels are offered in the meantime.
- Temporary campaign pages: Informational pages without purchase options may not yet be fully accessible; essential information is always available on accessible shop pages.
- Embedded third-party videos: Full accessibility cannot be guaranteed; we encourage providers to supply accessible media.
