One Touch Feature
Espresso, Café Crème, Cappuccino and Latte macchiato can be selected with just one touch. Warm milk, frothed milk or hot water are also available easily and conveniently with One Touch.
Bean Select
To make different coffee specialities CAFFEO® CI® has a two chamber bean container \"Bean Select\". Whether you want café crème in the morning or an espresso after dinner: Coffee lovers can now simply switch between fine mild coffee beans or aromatic strong espresso beans. With the integrated ground coffee chute you can also use ready ground coffee.
My Coffee Memory
You don’t want to set your personal coffee preferences every time you make a coffee? No problem! With the My Coffee Memory feature you can set your favourite coffee specialities individually. Whether you like a strong small espresso or a delightfully creamy latte macchiato with lots of frothed milk - the CAFFEO® CI® remembers your flavour preferences! Up to 4 people can programme and save their preferences for all coffee specialities, so they can enjoy their favourite drinks at any time.
Italian Preparation Process
The Italian preparation process ensures an authentic taste as the ingredients are combined in the right order using an original Italian recipe. This means that, for latte macchiato, the espresso is added after the milk and the milk froth. For cappuccino, it is exactly the opposite.
Aroma-Extraction-System
For maximum enjoyment SOLO® & perfect milk uses a pre-brewing feature: The ground coffee is moistened with water before the actual brewing to free the maximum flavour of your coffee. For optimal cleaning the whole brewing unit can simply be removed.
Double Cup Mode
It‘s better together – with the Double Cup Mode you can simultaneously prepare two cups of many coffee specialities with or without milk. Also good for those who drink a lot of coffee of course.
Easy to use
Simple and intuitive to use thanks to the easy to understand menu. The illumination of the operating buttons ('illumination control') shows which buttons can be used. With the Memory Switch dial it's child's play to navigate through the menu. The text display supports you with clear instructions - from making your coffee to automatic cleaning.
All-in-One outlet
Separate nozzles for coffee, milk and hot water ensure simple preparation of your favourite beverages without you having to move the cup. Additionally, the height of the outlet can be adjusted by up to 140 mm so tall latte macchiato glasses will fit, too.
Removable brewing unit
The whole brewing unit can be removed and is easy to clean. This makes the inside of the machine accessible too, so it can also be cleaned without problem.
Plug in milk system
The milk system with its external, dishwasher-safe milk container is easy to remove and fits in any fridge. The separate milk unit in the outlet also ensures cleanliness, as it is separate from the coffee system. It too is easy to remove and clean.
Easy Steam Cleaning
Fast and hygienic – each time you make a drink with milk, your fully automatic machine offers to clean the parts in contact with milk. At the press of a button hot water and steam start cleaning thoroughly.
Water filter
To make your coffee taste even better, use a Melitta® Pro Aqua water filter. Another advantage - your fully automatic coffee machine only needs to be descaled once a year**. Why? It‘s obvious - the filter prevents lime deposits in the water system for as long as possible. **Based on a 120 ml cup 6 cups a day and changing the filter 6 times according to the appliance specifications.
Automatic cleaning and descaling program
Communication is everything. Your fully automatic coffee machine informs you on the display when it needs to be cleaned or descaled.
Contemporary energy efficiency
In addition to a programmable energy-saving mode, Melitta® fully automatic coffee machines have a practical Auto-OFF feature. This allows you to determine when your fully automatic coffee machine switches itself off automatically. Of course, you can also disconnect the appliance from the power supply manually using the 0-watt switch.

Fantastic product!
Love this coffee machine! Drinks are hot and you have different options around the strength of coffee shots. It has a hot water function too, it self-cleans and it looks good. Lots of additional bits such as reminder to re-fill water tank (which is quite big), to empty water tray or add coffee beans. Overall, after doing lots of research, i made the right decision!
Great Machine with a Good Selection of Customisable Options
I've had this unit since May 2018. It broke down once, but was collected and repaired for free. I've always worked from home but covid, so does my wife so this machine gets plenty of daily use. I use the personalised settings, and the ability to adjust water (and milk) levels on-the-fly frequently. Dialling the water output during the pour lets me top up slightly larger mugs very easily. I would buy this again.

Beautifully well built and handsome looking unit. Milk chamber is a little ugly and cheap but otherwise feels premium. My reason for return was it simply doesn't make espresso or cream hot enough. at best its mildly warm. Taste is therefore effected ... Just failed to deliver up to the looks

Very easy to use, very delicious coffee. Two cups in one time. Cappuccino, latte... I am very satisfied with these coffee machine and I do recommend it!!
The best coffee machine ever
Hi, over time I have tried various coffee machines from various companies. 2 years ago I decided to try Melitta, which I am most happy with and I intend to stay in the future. I already have it for 2 years in which I used it intensely, I have already made over 1000 coffees with it and it works as well as on the first day I bought it. I have absolutely no regrets. If I were to buy another coffee machine, I would make the same choice. For me, Melitta is the best!
